5 Elements
The Five Elements are our home. There is nowhere else to run, and nowhere else to play. It is there that we make our stand, go on our search, find our way, lose our way. There we have our families, lead our lives from cradle to grave. They are our only hope, and our source of fear. In them we find our greatest love, create our masterpiece, achieve the impossible dream, master our domain, and come home to wisdom. But losing connection with them, we find our failure, our depth of despair, our dead end. Our confusion, doubt, misery and unimaginable suffering. Their purity leads us to saintly acts. And their darkened hallways leads us to unspeakable crimes.
The elements beckon. But still, we choose. We follow, we turn away, we seek the shadows, we return like the prodigal child. But no matter what pathways we meander down, or doorways we hurdle through, we never really stray from their pristine, original nature. Like the Mother of all phenomena, who always accepts the wayward child, the 5 pure powers await our embrace.
